My lovely friend and street style blogger Tommy Ton author of the blog Jak and Jil has teamed up with Club Monaco for their very first bag collaboration. Tommy has designed 2 pieces for the capsule collection, a ruck-sac and a more satchel shaped tote (shown below), both come in navy with a leather trim. I love the results particularly the bag Poppy Delevigne is carrying in my shots above I find it a gentle mix between the Satchel shape and a Traditional Hand Bag. Poppy of course always looks amazing and gives the bag just the right street cred it needs go Poppy!

Street Style at London fashion week
London Fashion week kicks off in full force tomorrow and I shall be braving the cold to go and snap some street style pics around Somerset House and the different venues throughout the week.
Here are some of my top tips for taking great street style pics.
6 Tips for Shooting Street
Here are some of my top tips for taking great street style pics.
6 Tips for Shooting Street
- I like to shoot street style with quite a shallow depth of field allowing the background to gently blur therefore making the subject of my image pop out and be the main focus.
- I think it’s always important to be aware of the environment you are shooting in with street style you don’t want a background that distracts, clashes or overtakes in your final image.
- I love to look out for great textures, prints, embellishments and accessories on occasions a close up or detail shot can be a great way to sum up a trend in an alternative way to a full length.
- Everyone has a their own unique style at fashion week and once I have picked up on a trend, capturing several peoples variations on the same theme always makes for a great style report.
- The direction of the daylight is all important with street style photography so I like to keep an eye on how it changes throughout the day and how I can use it to create a unique image, from dappled light to back light by thinking ahead and whenever possible asking people to stand in just the right place to photograph them you can achieve so many different effects.
- Street style should be about a person’s style and also character once I have chosen a good spot to shoot I often allow people to pose how they most feel comfortable and then ask them to vary their position slightly if I can’t see enough of a bag or shape of a shoe.

Louis Vuitton SS12 Ready to Wear Trunk Show
The only way to describe the event I worked at last night, really is beautiful the Louis Vuitton spring/summer ready to wear collection is such a delightfully pretty and feminine collection a girl can but dream. Just one of the delicate collar pieces would make me a happy girl :)

My Wardobe Diary - Yes it's me!!
When I was recently asked by the lovely Alice Watt fashion assistant at www.elleuk.com if I would like to take part in their wardrobe diary feature for January 2012 I jumped at the chance. Here are some of the results from the shoot.
I found it quite a challenge to put 6 looks together for the feature as I am always the other side of the camera and tend to wear a lot of black. However I was quite determined to show the best possible cross section of my wardrobe as I love fashion and varying my look when I get the chance.
I got a lot out of the styling aspect of the shoot and it has definitely made me consider how I dress in a whole new light, I now lay my clothes out on the bed to figure out if a whole look works particularly before meetings and important events when I want to be sure to make a good impression. I also realized a have a definite Theysken's Theory addiction I can't wait to see the new collection!
A big thank you to
