The Clothes Whisperer - Time for a bit of Burlesque!

 

  

 

Following on from the shoot for Miss Selfridge's Limited edition T-shirt collection I was thrilled to be asked to continue the theme in a collaborative shoot with Miss Selfridge and my dear friend and top blogger Kristin Knox aka The Clothes Whisperer . Kristin often teams up with different brands to show how she would put together a look from their current collection. We had such fun on this shoot with all the feathers and sparkles and how great do Kristins legs look in those fishnets!

So that's my last shoot for 2010 now it's time for glass of mulled wine I think Happy Xmas everyone!

Miss Selfridge - Limited Edition Burlesque T - Shirt Collection

 

Miss Selfridge launched a new Limited Edition T - Shirt Collection this month in collaboration with Sony and inspired by the movie Burlesque starring Christina Aguilerai and Cher.

My model for the shoot was  Rachel Muldoon, Rachel is a dancer from Chicago the musical as well as a Burlesque Artist and couldn't have been a better choice for this collection with her flaming red hair.

I think this has to be one of my favourite shoots this yea.

Falke - Autumn/Winter 2010 launches in Harrods

  

 

One of my favourite Hosiery brands Falke have just launched their Autumn/Winter 2010 collection and the concession in Harrods is brimming with stock. I love the new collection the patterns, stripes and sparkles are just perfect for the winter.

When they asked me to shoot the window display my only question was can you pay me in tights!

John Galliano AW10 - Menswear

Galliano completely dissected the character of Sherlock Holmes that started off with dark aviator characters which then led into more recognisable Edwardian elements such as the bowler hats, banker suits and slick outerwear. Traditional peach corsets and fanlacers soon took hold. This then developed into a portion which was far more eclectic as Galliano injected his tried and tested Chinoiserie theme with embroidered floral and dragon robes and add-on hair queues.

AW10 Mens Fashion week Paris

Having worked at the Womenswear shows for several years it was great when I received  my first commission to shoot Street Style and documentary photos at the Menswear shows in Paris at the AW10 Collections.

I arrived in Paris the evening before the shows started and couldn’t resist taking a photo of the Eiffel Tower in all it’s glory.

In January 2010 I was commissioned by Store Pr to shoot a Look Book for the Retrosun Spring Summer 2010 Sunglasses Collection.

The concept was to use portraits of Fashion Editors, Journalists and people from the industry wearing the products.
